Food donations
during May will go to the Salvation Army.
The next Red Cross Blood Drive is tomorrow, May 4. A sign-up
sheet for volunteers is at the welcome center.
LG Kids will be hosting “Muffins
with Mom” for Mother’s Day. Next Sunday, May 10 at 9:30 AM, all kids and their moms or grandmothers are invited to the lower
level in the LG Kids department where there will be muffins, a craft, and time
for you to see how God is working in the hearts of our kids! We hope you can
join us!
The Women’s Mission & Service project
for May is baby bottles for the Sturgis Pregnancy & Family Resource Center
(formerly Sturgis Pregnancy Helpline).
This is a faith-based pro-life organization that ministers to the needs
of all families. Baby bottles are
available at the east door and the welcome center. Take a bottle home and fill it with change,
paper money, or checks (made out to the Family Resource Center). Return the filled bottle to the mission
counter in the fellowship hall by the end of the month. Donations may also be given on-line. Information for this is on the baby bottle
insert. See Louellen Westover if you
have questions.
This Saturday, May 9, is the first Loved First
Golf Scramble at Sauganash Country Club in Three Rivers. Check-in time is 9:15 AM. They still need helpers! A sign-up list is at the Welcome Center.
The next Women’s Fellowship event will be a Cemetery Ancestry Tour on May 12 at
6:00 PM. Bring a
favorite family dish to share.
Congratulations to 2 “young” couples who
recently celebrated 50 years of wedded bliss!
May God grant Greg & Carolyn Gautsche and Gary & Kay Large many more happy years
