offices will be closed Monday for Memorial Day.
Attention all
women: Please join us for “Salad & Scripture” women’s Bible study
beginning May 28. This will be the 2nd and 4th
Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:30 PM in the fellowship
hall. A light meal and fellowship will
be from 5:30-6:30 PM followed by the Bible study. Bring a topping for a lettuce salad. See Monica Lederman or Nickie Younts with
questions.

There will be a
Sunday school class starting June 7 covering
the Confession of Faith in a Mennonite
Perspective for anyone interested in becoming a member of Locust
Grove or for anyone interested in learning more about what Mennonites
believe. See Pastor Bill if you are
interested in this class.
There
will be a carry-in meal followed by a congregational meeting on June 14.
The church directory will be updated
over the next few weeks. Any attenders
who need to be added to the directory or who have information that needs to be
updated can take a blank directory form from the counter by the library. Updated info can be placed in Candace Beck’s
mailbox or emailed to candace.b.beck@gmail.com. Directory photos can also be emailed or submitted
via hard copy or flash drive. Contact
Candace via email, phone (219-707-0707), or in person with any questions or if
you need a photo taken.
Remember
to bring your food donations that will go to the Salvation
Army.
