ANNOUNCEMENTS

Matt Yoder, our interim pastor, will be starting this interim role soon.  His first Sunday will be May 9th. In order to get to know him, we will be holding a meet and greet that morning instead of Sunday School in the fellowship hall. Matt is excited to be joining us and walking with us as we seek God's direction going forward.

Food donations during May will go to the Salvation Army.

The MYF Auction will be Saturday, May 8 in the church fellowship hall.  Supper will be at 5:30pm with the auction following.  The MYF is looking for homemade or unique items such as baked goods, home goods, crafts, things unique to our church, etc.  All donations are greatly appreciated but are not required to attend.  If you have an item/items you’d like to donate or have any questions, please see Adam & Cathy Fellers, Marcy Bontrager or Doug Hasbrouck.  A table is set up at the back of the church to display items prior to the night of the auction.  We hope you join us for this evening of fun and fellowship and to support our church youth!

The next blood drive will be Monday, May 10. Volunteers are needed to help with setup, registration, tear down and driving donors who may need rides. A sign-up sheet is in the fellowship hall. If you want to donate blood, call the Red Cross for an appointment 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

Women's Fellowship: Coffee & Canvas, Tuesday, May 11 @ 6:00 PM. Cost is $10 per person. There is a sign-up sheet in fellowship hall.

The Women’s Mission & Service May project is hygiene kits for MCC.  Kits bags can be picked up at each sanitation table.  Contents to be purchased – 1 medium-weight hand towel, 1 large bar of bath soap, 1 adult toothbrush, 1 good quality nail clipper, 1 wide-tooth comb.  Returned the filled bags to the WMS counter in the fellowship hall.  Thanks for your help!

“Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!  Your gestures of love, words of support, and generosity have been overwhelming.  The scrapbooks are incredible!  Thank you for an amazing send off.  You are dearly loved and will be deeply missed.”  Bill & Sherry
