LGMC Bulletin

Women’s Fellowship, Tuesday, Mar. 26 @ 6:00 PM - Fun, Fellowship, and Chonda Pierce (Christian comedy video).  Bring a dish to pass and prepare to laugh!  A sign-up sheet is on the console by the library.

There will be a Maundy Thursday service on Mar. 28 at 6:00 PM that will include a light meal.  On Easter Sunday, Mar. 31, we will have a carry-in breakfast at 9:15 AM.  Everyone should bring their favorite breakfast dish to pass.  There will be no Sunday school that morning.  Please gather in the sanctuary first and then proceed to the fellowship hall to eat.

We will be receiving Darin King into membership on April 7.

All three names were affirmed on the Elder ballot last Sunday.  The lot will be April 14. 

A vote of affirmation on the revised church constitution will be on April 21.

You are invited to a Good Friday service at Burr Oak Methodist church on Mar. 28 starting at 7:00 PM. 

Quality hand-crafted items are needed for the Gospel Echoes Prison Ministry Annual Benefit Auction on Apr. 12 & 13.  House plants are also a good seller.  If you can donate anything, please call Faith Ann Stauffer at 269-435-7574.

Amigo Centre is having their annual Woodcutting Day on Saturday, Apr. 20 beginning at 8:00 AM, with brunch served at 10:00 AM.  There will be more splitting than cutting this year so volunteers are asked to bring splitters if they have them.  Volunteers are also needed to carry wood.

Sympathy and prayers go to Ed Wilcox and his family with the death of his sister Judy.  A memorial service will be April 20 at the Burr Oak Methodist Church.

Remember to bring your food donations that will go to Salvation Army.
