ANNOUNCEMENTS
Everyone is encouraged to attend the evening service next Sunday, July 18. Gary & Ruth Denlinger will be presenting information on their work in Israel. They will be talking about modern-day Israel, Messianic Judaism in Israel, and will have a typical Israeli meal.

Sympathy and prayers go to the family of Levi Slabach who died July 6. Family members from Locust Grove are his wife Alma, and children Teresa & Jim Owsley and family, and Larry & Rose Bontrager and family. The funeral was here yesterday.
Pastor John will be on vacation July 15-23.
Amigo Centre Scrapbooking Retreat – Aug. 27-29 – More information is in the brochure racks in the fellowship hall.
Sturgis Church League Softball – Tuesday, July 13 – 6:00 PM – Locust Grove vs. Firm Foundation (single game)
The next WMSC meeting is July 15. Martha Franz will be hostess and Mary Jane Eichorn will have devotions. The project is school kits.

- Pray for God’s direction and unity for the Brazilian Mennonite Pastors and Leaders Institute held July 16-18 to discuss the theme, “The Church in the 21st Century.” About 60 leaders will attend.
