ANNOUNCEMENTS
Some members of Gerri Schwartz’s Sunday school have expressed interest in attending the IN-MI Women’s Retreat at Amigo Centre Oct. 10-12. The theme for the retreat is “Vine Ripened Women: How Fruity Are You?” We have requested to stay in the 1st floor of West Shore Lodge. Our class will not fill that lodging and would like anyone that is interested in attending the retreat to also stay there. If you have questions or need registration information, contact Donna Sommers or Gerri Schwartz.
The 2008-09 proposed budget is in your mailboxes today. We will have a vote on it on Sept. 21. If you have any questions, please talk to one of the Elders or to Brian W. Troyer.
Congratulations to Sylvanus & Sylvia Yoder on celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on September 5!

Ways to be involved in the MCC Relief Sale Sept. 26-27 – Penny Power, sing in the Men’s Choir, run or walk, work in the pancake and sausage booth (sign up on the library counter for a shift), camp, eat, shop for baked goods, produce, noodles, antiques, quilts and much more.
Amigo Centre is sponsoring a Couple’s Retreat on Oct. 31 and Nov. 2. John & Naomi Lederach are the resource people. To register, call 651-2811.
The September WMSC meeting will be Sept. 15, 16 & 17 with quilting at the St. Joe County Fair. The project for September is still health kits.
