If you have a new picture or need your picture taken for the church directory, talk to Rin Bontrager.
Food donations during September will go to Salvation Army.
Annual reports are due once again.
We will be having communion October 1.
Reminder – Bring your boxes for Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Project. The primary children should bring the items for their boxes also.  These will ship the 1st week of November.
New addresses:  Eric & Kelsey Lunger have moved to 105 Field St., White Pigeon, MI  49099.  And Bill & Florence Wickey will be moving to 1425 Greencroft Drive, Apt. 224, Goshen, IN  46526 on Sept. 28.  Their phone number will be 269-615-7051.  We will miss you Bill & Florence, and wish you God’s blessings.

ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
Wednesday Connection will begin on Sept. 27.  Supper will be served from 5:30-6:15 PM.  Classes start at 6:30 PM and include one on teaching with Ross Weber, a ladies study of Genesis with Audra Franz, and Kids Club for K-5 with Pastor Bill Beck.  Nursery care will be provided.
All ladies are invited to a baby shower honoring Kelsey Lunger and her baby girl here at Locust Grove on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 2:00 PM.  Kelsey is registered at Amazon.com.
Men’s Retreat is Oct. 6-7 at Camp Elvin, Factoryville, MI.  Talk to Darin King for more details.
MCC Comforter Bash will be Oct. 20 (9-5) & 21 (9-3) at Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Goshen.  They need people to knot and also to sew and piece comforter tops.    
The Elders are proposing an amendment to our constitution to shorten the length of Elder term from 5 to 3 years.  The vote on this will be on Oct. 22.  If you have any questions, please talk to one of the Elders.
If you have a church key because of an office you held previously and no longer have that position, please return the key to the church office.
The next Red Cross Blood Drive will be October 23.
