ANNOUNCEMENTS
A Maundy Thursday service is planned for April 9 at 6:00 PM. There will be a light meal followed by communion and foot washing.
Our group subscription plan to The Mennonite is renewing. If you are interested in joining the group plan, or to continue your subscription, please contact Beth Miller by today. Subscription rates are $35 per subscription for a group of 6-49. Money for your subscription needs to be paid to Beth by today, too.
The women of Shore Mennonite Church invite the women of Locust Grove to their annual Guest Day on Apr. 14 to be held in the fellowship hall of their church. Childcare will be provided. If the weather is bad, the meeting will be cancelled. Talk to Martha Franz if you are interested in carpooling.
Vacation Bible School is less than three months away. Your help is needed to make this a successful week of outreach to both our own children as well as those in the community. Please return volunteer sheets to Audra Franz by April 12. Extras are on the library counter.
A Worship Commission meeting is scheduled for Apr. 15 at 7:00 pm at the church.
Palm Saturday is Apr. 18. We are still in need of volunteer workers. See sign-up forms on the library counter. Also, Locust Grove is responsible to provide 10 gallons of milk for the breakfast. A sign-up sheet is on the library counter for that, too. The milk needs to be at the church by noon on Apr. 17.
The WMSC project for April is items for newborn kits for MCC.
