Please join the quilters at Lake Area Christian School for a day of quilting, knotting comforters, and fellowship on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 8:30 AM to ?.  Lunch will be provided. 
Annual Reports for the 2012-2013 church year are due.
Remember to bring your food donations that will go to Keystone Place.
You are invited to the CrossLinks Banquet fundraiser on Nov. 9 at New Life Church south of Shipshewana.  Please let Martha Franz, Ramona King, Beth Miller or Fred Schwartz know if you would like to attend.
The LACS Bazaar & Auction will be on Saturday, Nov. 23.
Daylight Saving Time ends Nov. 3 – please turn clocks back one hour.
Thurston Woods Village will be having their 24th annual auction bazaar on Saturday, November 9th.  Craft vendors will be open at 8 a.m. and the Auction will start at 10 a.m. with some of your favorite auctioneers (Greg and Fred).  For more information, please feel free to contact Brenda Blucker.

Game Night – The Young Adult Class is hosting a game night this Friday, Nov. 8 at 6:00 PM in the fellowship hall.  Bring finger food and a game for a night of fun fellowship!

The Primary Department is planning to send their offering money to the Heifer Project this year.  They have close to $300 so far and the offering towards this project will go through November.  On Nov. 17, they would like to ask you to help in this project by taking a special offering. They would love to send a cow or other smaller animals to help families around the world.
Remember to bring your food donations that will go to Salvation Army.
Volunteers are needed to furnish 5 veggie trays for the Community Thanksgiving Meal at Grace Christian Fellowship on Nov. 28.  Workers are also needed that day to prepare and serve the food.  Please call 651-1991 if you can help with the meal.  And let Cheryl Mast know if you can provide a veggie try.

The Upper Room devotional for Nov. 19, 2013 was written by DeVonna Allison and a story of hers is to be published in the upcoming book, Chicken Soup for the Soul:  Miracles HappenAlso, look for an article written by her in the December issue of The Purpose.  Great job, DeVonna!
Amigo Centre is hosting a Scrapbooking Retreat and a Spiritual Quilt Retreat on Dec. 6-8.  Participants may come for additional nights beginning Dec. 3 for an additional $25 per night.  Early registration deadline is Nov. 8.  Call 651-2811 for more information.
