The WMSC July
meeting is this Thursday. Gerri
Schwartz is in charge of the kitchen and Rachel
Oswald will have devotions.
The project for August is to continue to collect items for school kits
for MCC. Extra bags are on the console
in the fellowship hall. In addition,
there is a box on the console in which to put school supplies for Locust Grove
teachers.
Food donations
during August
will go to the Keystone Place .
Our annual Sunday morning service at Amigo
Center Pavilion will be Aug. 26 starting with coffee and donuts at 9:30
AM, worship service at 10:30 AM, a noon carry-in meal, and ending with a
baptism at Rich
& Chris Oswald ’s immediately after the meal.
The next Red Cross Blood Drive at
Locust Grove will be August 27.
The Church Affiliation Committee has
recommended that Locust Grove apply for membership with the Evana Network. There will be a congregational vote for this
on Sept. 9. Please be in prayer about
this decision.
Starting today we will be taking “coins”
offerings for My Coins Count for the Relief Sale. These offerings will be collected through
Sept. 17.
