There will be a baby shower for Jaclyn (Lederman) Suderman on Dec. 5 at the Sturges Young Auditorium from 2-4:00 PM. All church women are invited.
Updates from Cross Links/Phil Yoder – The school kits that you gave are getting a lot of use in Kamanca, Ukraine. The bags are used when people go shopping and since English is fairly commonly understood in this village, the Country magazines have been an unexpected blessing. Some of the ladies are making recipes they found in the magazines and some of the men are building flower beds from ideas they saw in it. What a blessing! Also, please remember the people in this area in prayer. There is a great flu epidemic in the area and they have had no school for four consecutive weeks.

The Mission Commission has a box in the fellowship hall to hold copy paper, bathroom tissue, paper towels, and laundry detergent for the Haven of Rest in Battle Creek, MI. Haven of Rest helps serve nearly 150 homeless individuals every day, all year long.
The JYF and MYF will be going Christmas caroling on Dec. 10 starting at 5:00 PM. Everyone is invited to join them. Meet at the church.
You are invited to an Open House/Reception celebrating the marriage of Chris & Destiny Higdon. Destiny is the daughter of Jim & Ruth Peshina. This will be held on Dec. 20 from 2-4:00 PM at Bethany Christian HS cafeteria. Please RSVP at ruthpe@interracu.com.
