All ladies are invited to a bridal shower in honor of Jaclyn Lederman on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 2:00 pm in the fellowship hall.
The WMSC October project is Christmas boxes. These need to be turned in by Nov. 15. The November project is blankets and comforters for MCC.
Other Fall Bazaars: New Covenant Church Bazaar – Saturday, Nov. 6 at 8:00 AM; Thurston Woods – Nov. 13
The vote taken last Sunday for calling Bill Lederman to the position of church administrator passed by 96%.

“Thank you for your support for the Jail Ministry. The banquet was very successful. $3,850 was received in the offering taken that night. A special thanks goes to the Missions Commission for paying for the meat for the banquet.” – Jake Schwartz
Grace Fellowship is hosting a community Thanksgiving dinner and is hoping to serve 500. They are asking area churches to help provide the food. More details are in your mailbox and food slips are on the library counter. Marjana Tribble has agreed to be the coordinator from Locust Grove. Her phone number is 651-1518 if you have any questions.

JYF Events –
Thurs. Nov. 4, 5-7:30 pm. - Service project at Amigo Centre. Dress for outside weather. RSVP to Eva or Katrina. We expect to see you all there.
Sat. Nov. 13 – Noodle making at the church at 10:00 am ?? This is NOT an optional activity. Please plan to be there and bring a parent/s with you to help. The more help we have, the sooner we will be finished. Lunch will be provided.
The JYF will be sponsoring another chicken noodle dinner on Sunday, Nov. 21. This will be a “by donation” fundraiser with homemade noodles and angel food cakes available to purchase. Noodles and cakes may be pre-purchased for $2.50/bag and $5.00/cake. See any JYFer or sponsor with your order.
Annual reports are due for the 2003-04 church year. Notes are in the mailboxes today for the reports that are still needed.
It is time to save for the Marriage Retreat, Feb. 18-20, 2005. Mark your calendars and begin saving by making a designation to “Marriage Retreat” through your offering.
Remember to bring your staple food supplies next Sunday for the Locust Grove Food Pantry. – The Missions Commission
