ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
This fall the primary department will begin using a new curriculum from MennoMedia called "Shine: Living in God's Light." Along with the regular Sunday school material, we will have the "Shine On" story Bible as a resource. This is a 320-page hardcover book that will be used through the next three years. Any Locust Grove family that would like to purchase this book for their home use can do so by letting Carolyn Gautsche know by July 27. Cost is $25. If you have any questions or would like to see additional information, please check with Carolyn, Marilyn Schwartz or Mandy Yoder. Thank you!
Congratulations to Tangi Gautsche and Brad Love on the birth of Eli Jon on July 17.  Little Eli weighed 7 lb 7 oz and was 20 inches long.  Alden and Addy love helping take care of their brother.  Other family members from Locust Grove are Greg & Carolyn Gautsche, Delmar & Donna Gautsche, Dave & Bertha Bontrager, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  May God pour His love and blessings on this baby and his family.
From Rustin & Lisa Tribble, recipients of 1st Fruits Funds – “Thank you so much for your donation.  We can’t describe how much your generosity has meant to us!”  (The Tribbles lost their home and contents in a house fire.)
The Relief Sale is coming.  How can you be ready?  Get plants/bulbs ready.  Pick out good used or new toys.  Register to run or walk for the 5K.  Tie a quilt.  Go through your sewing things and yarn to see what you can get rid of.  Save your pennies.  Penny Power will start Aug. 3 at Amigo. ~ Chris Oswald
