The Tuesday evening Ladies' Bible Study will run through May 4

There will be a Love Farewell for Pastor Bill & Sherry on Apr. 25.  Prior to that we would invite everyone (including children) to be saving things for a scrapbook page for them.  It can include cards, pictures, or memories (be creative).  If you don’t have scrapbook supplies, there will be some available on Apr. 11 & 18 at the church.  Pre-made pages should measure 9.5x12.  8x8 pages will be available for the children to use.

The MYF Sunday school class is in need of a teacher/leader beginning the first Sunday in May.  If you are interested or have any questions, contact Louellen Westover.

The MYF Auction will be Saturday, May 8 in the church fellowship hall.  Supper will be at 5:30pm with the auction following.  The MYF is looking for homemade or unique items such as baked goods, home goods, crafts, things unique to our church, etc.  All donations are greatly appreciated but are not required to attend.  If you have an item/items you’d like to donate or have any questions, please see Adam & Cathy Fellers, Marcy Bontrager or Doug Hasbrouck.  A table will be set up at the back of the church to display items prior to the night of the auction.  We hope you join us for this evening of fun and fellowship and to support our church youth!

Please remember Galen & Carol Eichorn in your prayers. Galen has Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). ANNOUNCEMENTS continued…

Faith Statement - We both were born and raised in the Chicago area in the Reformed Church denomination, where Infant baptism is the tradition.  We met after high school, married and had 3 children whom we raised in the "fear and nurture of the Lord".  God has always been a part of our family life.  But it wasn't until we were in our 50's, after a particularly soul-searching sermon that we realized our need to be baptized as adults.  And so we took that step on 10/23/2011 at Village Evangelical Free Church in Dyer, IN, "an outward sign of an inward change".  After retiring, we moved to our cottage, now turned into a year-round home, on Palmer Lake in Colon, MI.  Our dear friend, Sue Cole, introduced us to Locust Grove Church and we feel the Holy Spirit has led us here. Special thanks to Pastor Bill for the membership class.  We learned a lot from each other!  We look forward to many years of worshiping and serving our Lord & Savior together with you.Jerry & Nancy Dykstra
