The Lucky Few by
Heather Avis is a nonfiction book in our church library. It is the story of a
couple that chose to adopt 3 children, two of whom have Down syndrome and
serious heart problems. They quickly discovered that God’s best for their lives
would be found in the most unlikely places. It is a story about family, adoption,
special needs and most of all it is a story about faith.
