The Women’s
Sewing project for August is school kits for MCC. At the meeting this Thursday, Martha Franz
will be in charge of the kitchen and Louellen Westover will have devotions.
Sample
ballots for church offices were in your church mailboxes last Sunday. The vote of affirmation will be on August 18
during the morning service.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, continued
Our
Sunday morning worship service on Aug. 25 will be at Amigo
Centre. Coffee and donuts will be served
at 10:00 AM. The worship service will
start at 10:30 AM. There will be a fellowship meal after. Please bring a dish to pass.
We
will be receiving Sue Cole and Charlie Casper as members on Aug. 25 during the
morning service at Amigo Centre and baptizing Phiona Jorgensen at Rich &
Chris Oswald’s after the carry-in dinner.
Pastor Bill is on sabbatical until October
1.
