ANNOUNCEMENTS
Just a few more Annual Reports to be turned in and then you won’t have to look at this announcement any more.
Food donations during October will go to the Keystone Place.
Daylight Savings Time ends next Sunday, Nov. 4.  Turn your clocks back one hour Saturday night.
MCC Great Lakes Comforter Bash will be Nov. 9 & 10 at Pleasant View Church in Goshen.  See the bulletin board for more details.
Lake Area Christian School Bazaar will be Nov. 16 & 17.
The MYF will be hosting a Chili & Pie Cook-Off Fundraiser at the church on Nov. 17 at 6:00 PM.  There is a sign-up sheet if you’d like to bring chili or pie.  Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the evening.  Cast your votes for your favorite chili and pie with dollar bills.  All proceeds will go towards the MYF.

MYF – Nov. 4 – The Man Hunt Banquet.  Girls meet at the church at 5:30 PM to prepare the meal.  Guys are welcome to come at 6:30 PM.  Our evening will end at 8:00 PM at the church.  Come ready to eat!  Nov. 11, 6-8:00 PM – Dad Night.  Location TBD.  Nov. 17 – MYF Chili & Pie Cook-Off Fundraiser at the church from 6-7:30 PM.  MYF – Please show up at 5:00 PM and plan to stay after for clean up.

Faith Statement

DeVonna Allison – Growing up as a foster child, I was always keenly aware I was an inconvenience and an outsider in the many homes I lived in. I knew the people who cared for me were not “mine” and I longed to be part of a family, like everyone else. When I was 16 years old I was introduced to the One who would “never leave me, or forsake me”, the Lord Jesus Christ. I accepted Him as my Savior on December 28, 1979. I remember the date so well because it is the day my life changed forever. It has been a thrill for me to be a part of the family of God with a rich and godly heritage that extends all the way back to the Garden of Eden.
