Please respond by today you have interest in receiving the Purpose (a monthly publication of stories of faith and promise), Rejoice, or Daily Bread (daily devotional readings). These become available beginning in September. A donation of $10 is suggested for the Daily Bread.
Needed – greeters and ushers for August. Let Beth know if you can help.
All drivers of our church van must now have a chauffeur’s license.
A noon carry-in meal is planned for next Sunday, July 31. It will be hosted by the Sunday school class taught by Gerri Schwartz. Please bring your own table service if it is convenient and a dish to pass.
There will be a Community Hymn Sing next Sunday at 6:00 PM at Riverview Mennonite Church, White Pigeon, MI. Everyone is invited!
Women’s Fellowship will be having a Cookie Bake for the MCC Relief Sale on Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 5:30-8:30 PM. There will be sign up lists on the fellowship hall table next Sunday for attending and for bringing ingredients.

Relief Sale Funding Banquet will be Aug. 18 at the Essenhaus. The Relief Sale Board is hosting a banquet to help underwrite the expenses that occur at each year’s sale. The goal is to defray these expenses so that more of the money spent at the sale can go to MCC. Please consider hosting a table of 8 for $160 or purchasing individual seats at $20 each. If interested, call 888-503-8559.
Concert, auction and barbeque competitions are planned for Aug. 20 at Firm Foundation Ministries to benefit work in Haiti. Auction items are needed. A poster with more information is on the table in the fellowship hall.
A ladies ring was found recently in the parking lot. Call the church office this week if you think it might be yours.
The new Everence Stewardship Education Catalog is ready to help you and your class pursue holistic stewardship with books, curriculum, and educational events. The catalog is located in the church library and can also be accessed online at Everence.com. Contact Audra Franz if you have questions or if you choose to use an Everence resource for personal or group study.
