Total giving for this budget year is $80,140.96 to meet needs in our church, our community and around the world. To meet our general budget needs of $174,594, we will need to average $3,590.92 per week in unrestricted giving for the rest of the budget year. So far this year, we have averaged $3,063.37 in unrestricted giving.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Missions Commission is receiving a special offering today for MCC to be used in the Asian disaster. They will also be collecting kits for those who wish to contribute needed items.
The Elders have hired Sheila Troyer as our new janitor. This change is effective as of 02/11/05. Thanks go to Mel & Edna Mullett for their service to us here as our previous janitors.
The Locust Grove Marriage Retreat will begin on Friday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 PM at Oakwood Conference Center in Syracuse, IN. Nineteen couples from our congregation will be attending until 11:00 AM Sunday, Feb. 20. Speaker for the weekend is Dr. Jay Shetler. A schedule and map are in the mailboxes today for those attending.
We will be assembling a choir for lent and Easter. Anyone who would like to participate should come to practice at 6:00 PM on Wednesday. All are welcome.
Our sound technician today is Greg Blucker, computer technician is Shelly Kindig, and camera operators are Sam Eicher and Nick Troyer.
The February WMSC project is sewing kits for MCC. Martha Franz is hostess and Donna Sommers will have devotions at this Thursday’s meeting.
Pleasant Hill Missionary Church is inviting us to their Women’s Conference on March 12 from 8:30 AM–3:00 PM. Let Faith Carpenter know if you are interested in car pooling or for information. The insert in your mailbox has more information.
Tom Harmon will be speaking at New Covenant Christian Fellowship Feb. 20-23 at 6:00 PM on Sunday evening and 7:00 PM the other evenings. More information is posted on the west bulletin board.
Everyone is invited to “Teaching Techniques” presented by Bill Miller and Ross Weber at Locust Grove on Sunday evening, March 6 at 5:30 PM. Mark your calendar for this learning and fun event. Please bring finger foods to share. Drink will be provided.
Ten Thousand Villages of Shipshewana seeks a part-time store manager. This paid position will require approximately 20 hours per week. More information is posted on the west bulletin board.
Bethany Christian Schools invites applications for the new full-time position (March-November) of groundskeeper to begin on March 1, 2005. More information is posted on the west bulletin board.
