Remember to bring your food donations that will go to Salvation Army.

Pastor Bill will be offering a class during the Sunday school hour for anyone interested in exploring membership, baptism, or simply learning more about what Mennonites believe.  The class will begin June 2.

The Missions Commission will be collecting the following items for Haven of Rest in Battle Creek during the month of May:  paper towels, toilet paper, copy paper, and laundry detergent.  Please place them in the box on the console by the library.

For those of you that signed up to be on the new Prayer Chain, copies of the reorganized group are in your mailboxes.

Congratulations to Eric & Kelsey (Gautsche) Lunger on their recent marriage. Their new address is 470 S. Burr Oak Rd., Apt. 32, Colon, MI.  May God bless you with health and happiness!

ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.

The WMSC monthly meeting is Thursday.  Donna Sommers is in charge of the kitchen and Rachael Hochstedler will have devotions.  The project for May is MCC Relief Kits that may be left at the sewing area in a bag or box.  The items will be packed into buckets at the resource center.  We welcome everyone to participate.

Scrapbooking at LACS – LACS is having a scrapbooking fundraiser event May 24 & 25 at the school.  Friday is from 6:00 PM to midnight and Saturday is from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.  Cost for the two days together is $35.  Lunch on Saturday is provided and there will be door prizes.  RSVP to Marty Diller by May 22.  More information is on the console by the library.

Mark your calendars for the MYF Auction on June 1!  There will be a haystack dinner and an evening of fun.  If you would like to donate any items, feel free to let any of the youth know.  Thanks so much for your support and love towards the youth.  We appreciate you! – MYF and Sponsors
