UPDATE ON NEW AGE FESTIVAL - See fellowship hall bulletin board for new Denlinger letter. This year’s festival had an estimated attendance of 50,000. There were 118 evangelists at the festival divided into two camps. Results were fabulous - 11 decisions to accept Christ, 304 persons requested more information, thousands of books and hundreds of New Testaments were distributed, and thousands of conversations concerning the faith took place. This was probably the most effective outreach ever in Israel since the days of the early church. "The festival itself was an abomination", said a student from the mission group. "But Jesus was there searching for his lost sheep."
