Welcome to Locust Grove! We’re glad to have you join us for our time of worship together. If you haven’t already attended, we would love to have you also join us for Sunday school next Sunday. Sunday school is an important step in making further connections with a smaller group of people. Wednesday Connection Champion – Zack Prell!
Craft Club will be Mar. 5 at 7:00 PM at Pat Eicher’s.
Each year the Mennonite Colleges; Bethel, Bluffton, Eastern Mennonite University, Goshen, & Hesston offer students a grant that matches home congregation contributions dollar for dollar up to $1,000 per year ($500 per semester). Locust Grove has a line item in the budget that goes to that fund and also has a special offering for that purpose. This year we will be taking that offering Sunday, March 8. High school seniors and current college students - If you are planning to attend one of the Mennonite colleges and would like to take part in this program, please fill out an application that is on the library counter and return it to Gerri Schwartz by March 8.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
There are left over old red hymnals available to anyone who would like them. We ask that for the first two weeks you take only one per family to ensure that each family that wants one will get them. We are also asking for donations for the hymnals are made to the building fund.
Thank you to Monson Tax Service for their generosity and expertise in figuring our taxes for us.
A note of appreciation to Locust Grove from Mike & Donna Monson is posted on the west bulletin board. We are thankful Mike is home again and gaining strength.
Remember to bring your staple food supplies next Sunday for the Sturgis Food Pantry.
