Ladies – You are invited to a Bridal Shower for Jenny Kregger on Saturday, August 6 at 2:30 PM in the fellowship hall.
“Passing on the Comfort – the war, the quilts, and the women who made a difference.” A traveling exhibit featuring 18 quilts made by Mennonites in North America and distributed in the Netherlands after WWII will be at The Depot in Goshen through Aug. 3. See the poster on the west bulletin board for more information.
Ladies – On Aug. 3 from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM an outing is being planned to go to The Depot in Goshen where you will do work projects at the MCC resource center, observe the traveling “Passing on the Comfort” quilt display, eat lunch, and shop at The Depot thrift shop, The Whistle Stop, and various shops at The Bag Factory. Check the WMSC bulletin board for sign-up and details.

The Youth Core had a wonderful time at the Charlotte 2005 convention. They were all challenged and encouraged by the worship services and are thankful that you helped make it possible for them to attend. Sunday, Aug. 14, they will bring a little bit of Charlotte 2005 to Locust Grove and they hope that you will be here to participate in worship with them. They are looking forward to sharing their experience with you.
