ANNOUNCEMENTS
The church budget for 2017-18 was approved. 
If you have a new picture or need your picture taken for the church directory, talk to Rin Bontrager.
Food donations during September will go to Salvation Army.
The Praise Team will be singing at the St. Joseph County Fair today at 3:30 PM
WMSC will be meeting at the County Fair on Sept. 18, 19 & 20 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM to quilt.  The WMSC project for September is food items for the Salvation Army. 
The 50th Michiana Mennonite Relief Sale will be Sept. 22-23.  Please plan to attend and also to donate items such as quilts, high-quality crafts, antiques, and baked goods.  Talk to Chris Oswald for more details.
Annual reports are due once again.
We will be having communion October 1.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
Wednesday Connection will begin on Sept. 27.  Supper will be served from 5:30-6:15 PM.  Classes start at 6:30 PM and include one on teaching with Ross Weber, a ladies study of Genesis with Audra Franz, and Kids Club for K-5 with Pastor Bill Beck.  Nursery care will be provided.
Men’s Retreat is Oct. 6-7 at Camp Elvin, Factoryville, MI.  Talk to Darin King for more details.
The Elders are proposing an amendment to our constitution to shorten the length of Elder term from 5 to 3 years.  The wording for this amendment is in your mailbox today and the vote will be on Oct. 22.  If you have any questions, please talk to one of the Elders.
If you have a church key because of an office you held previously and no longer have that position, please return the key to the church office.
The next Red Cross Blood Drive will be October 23.
