Everyone is invited to an Open House in honor of Menno & Delila Chupp’s 60th wedding anniversary today from 2–5:00 PM here in the fellowship hall.
All ladies/girls are invited to join a Bible study entitled “Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study Girl” by Lysa Terkerurst starting on Oct. 7 at 7:30 pm. You will meet every other Thursday evening, here at the church, through December. Let Katrina know if you would like to attend or if you would like a study guide ($11.00).
There will be an MMA informational seminar on changes in Medicare on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 6:30 PM at Grace Christian Fellowship in Sturgis. Please RSVP: (800) 254-5110, ext. 322 or shirleen.weaver@mmapartners.org .

The ballot on the 2010-11 church budget was approved by 97%.
The WMSC project for October is dark twin blankets for MCC.
New Covenant Christian Fellowship will have its annual bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All proceeds go toward missions.
“Thank you for all the nice cards we received for our 50th wedding anniversary and thanks to all who came to the open house to help us celebrate. We really enjoyed the day.” – Clyde & Dorothy Troyer
The total amount raised at the MCC Relief Sale was approximately $360,000. Locust Grove’s Penny Power container was filled with $1,055.20! Thank you for helping to make a difference in the world.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Esther Carpenter who died Thursday morning. She and her husband Marcus and their family attended Locust Grove for many years and Esther was loved by many small children as she was their first Sunday school teacher. She was a sister to Paul Eichorn and sister-in-law to Dave & Bertha Bontrager, Ann & Hezir Araujo, and Jim & Faith, Mary, and Edna Carpenter.

Celebrate Amigo is Oct. 15-17. The event is free but donations to cover your costs are appreciated. You are invited for the weekend or just Saturday. The annual benefit auction is Saturday night. Please register in advance by calling 651-2811.
