ANNOUNCEMENTS

Food donations during July will go to the Salvation Army.

The church office will be closed on July 22 & 24.  If you have a bulletin announcement, please contact Rachel King.

The July Women’s Mission & Service project is twin sheet sets for the Uganda school boarding houses.  These sheets MUST be at the church by today, July 20.

There will be a Fish Fry today, July 20, from 5-7:00 PM. This is a fundraiser for Loved First.  It will be held at Riegsecker’s barn, 26991 N. Shore Drive, Sturgis.  It is a drive through so you don’t even have to get out of your car.  Just follow the signs!

There will be an August Fundraiser for Loved First Ministry called “Buy a Seat at My Table”.  Information is in your mailbox and also on the welcome center.  Sign up will be July 27 and August 3.

We will be having a Congregational Meeting on July 27 at 5:00 PM.  An Information sheet about the meeting has been placed in your mailbox along with an agenda, sample ballots and a proposed budget.  Extra information sheets and budgets are on the credenza.   

August 3, 9:00 AM - LG Kids & Locust Grove youth ministry volunteer appreciation breakfast - If you have volunteered and helped with either the youth group, Kids Club, Sunday school or Children's Church, we invite you to a special pancake breakfast!

August 17 - after the morning service - Family Fun Day! Everyone is invited for a Family Fun Day! We'll have activities and treats for one last summer party before school starts. Hotdogs and burgers will be provided.  Please bring a side dish to share. 

The next Blood Drive is September 8.

There will be an Ice Cream Supper Fundraiser for our youth group on September 27.  There will also be a Silent Auction at the same time.  This will be for a Blue Gate package including 2 meals and concert tickets of your choice.  Mark your calendars now and plan to attend!
