is bar soap for MCC.
It’s time to update the church directory. If you are not in the directory and want to
be, or if you want to update your page, let Rin Bontrager know in the next few
weeks.
We will be having a Maundy Thursday service at 6:30 PM on Apr. 18. On Sunday, Apr. 21, we will have an Easter breakfast at 9:30 AM with worship service to follow at 10:30
AM.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, continued
Each year the Mennonite Colleges, Bethel College, Bluffton College,
Eastern Mennonite University, Goshen College and Hesston College offer students
a grant that matches home congregation contributions dollar for
dollar up to $1,000 per year ($500/semester).
The Life & Nurture Commission has extended the contribution from
Locust Grove to any student that is or plans to attend any Christian college.
Some of those colleges may match contributions from home congregations and some
may not. If you are a high school senior
or current college student up to 26 years of age and are planning to attend a
Christian college for the school year 2019-2020, please notify Gerri Schwartz
by March 31, 2019.
