Ramona, Martha and Beth will be traveling to Moldova again in September. Possible plans include a widow’s meeting, visiting a cancer center, visiting an orphanage, and ministering to the blind. While in Moldova, different needs are always brought to their attention. If you would like to help with these needs, please designate through the offering to “Moldova Projects” by Aug. 28. This money would help them to be able to contribute “on the spot”. Thank you for your help!
Copies of the proposed church budget for the 2011-12 year are in your mailboxes today. A vote will be taken on Sunday, Aug. 21 during the morning service. Absentee ballots are available in the church office.

Lloyd & Sharon Schrock have cancelled their land-line phone and gone to just cell phones. Lloyd’s number now is 625-7459 and Sharon’s is 625-7393.
Women’s Fellowship will be having a Cookie Bake for the MCC Relief Sale on Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 5:30-8:30 PM. There will be sign up lists on the fellowship hall table today. If you are unable to attend, please sign up to bring some ingredients for the recipes. They need to be at the church by Sunday, Aug. 14.
The WMSC project for August is school kits for MCC and additional school items for Locust Grove teachers to use in their schools.
We will have a Sunday outdoor service at the Amigo Pavilion at Amigo Centre on Aug. 21. Come for coffee and donuts at 10:00 AM and the service will begin at 10:30 AM. There will be a potluck meal after the service so bring a dish or two to pass and your own table service.
Attention all “Baby & Small Children Lovers” – This is your chance to get your baby fix while giving those young, hard-working parents a break during the church service. For an opportunity you won’t want to miss, contact Nickie Younts before Sept. 1 to be put on the nursery schedule.
The 13th Annual MDC Goldenrod Benefit Auction will be Aug. 26 & 27 at Shipshewana Auction Barn. A poster with more information is on the table in the fellowship hall.
