ANNOUNCEMENTS
We need to get to work on the nativity pieces for the Primary Dept. Christmas gifts.  Work days are planned for Aug. 28, 29 & 30 from 9:00 AM to ??? here at the church.  Bring your own lunch and drinks.  Please come and help with this project for our precious children!
All men who love to sing are invited to join the Relief Sale Men’s Choir for 2012.  Rehearsals will be held at North Goshen Mennonite Church today and on Sept. 2, 9 and 16 from 4-5:30 PM.  Dress rehearsal is Sept. 20.  Performances are Sept. 21 and 23.  For more information call 574-534-2717.
Craft Club will be Sept. 6 at 7:00 PM at Phyllis Hughes’ home.
If you are receiving the Daily Bread, Purpose (short inspirational stories), or Rejoice (a daily devotional and prayer requests), you will continue to receive them unless you let me know different.  If you do not receive them and have interest, please contact me through the church mailbox, phone or email by Sept. 2.  A $10 fee is requested for the Daily Bread.  It may be designated and placed in the offering. ~ Donna Sommers

Menno-Hof Singspiration – Sept. 9, 4:45 PM – A cappella singing, ice cream, pretzels and more singing – Bring lawn chairs for seating.  Rain location:  Farmstead Inn pavilion.
The church kitchen is missing a stainless steel sauce pan that goes with a 7.5” lid.  Talk to Martha Franz if you know where it might be.
The MCC Relief Sale is recruiting volunteers who can assist with their new event- a silent auction.  Areas of work needing help are:  marketing, donor communications, event logistics, donation management, website support, technical support, etc.  They are also seeking donations of unique items or services for the silent auction.  Items should be new and worth at least $25.  If you are interested in helping, call 574-971-8952.
If anyone is interested in a cd of the music from VBS, please see Marty Diller.
Don’t forget to bring staple food supplies for Keystone Place.
