ANNOUNCEMENTS
Louanne
Younts will be leading the first “Coffee
& Canvas” night here at the church for Women’s Fellowship on Tuesday at 6:00 PM . A $10 donation is due that
evening for your supplies and you will need to bring an apron. If there are questions, feel free to contact
any of the committee members or Louanne Younts.
WMSC will meet this
Thursday. Rachel Hochstedler will be in
charge of the kitchen and Irene Troyer will have devotions. The project for March is twin-size blankets for
MCC.
Krista
Beeker has requested that her church membership be transferred to Emma
Mennonite. She thanked those at Locust
Grove who have kept her in prayer and have helped guide her in her Christian
journey. This request was granted. May the Lord bless Krista and her new church
family.

Remember
to bring your food donations that will go to the Salvation
Army.
Locust
Grove will be having a Maundy Thursday service on Thursday, Mar. 24 at 6:00 PM . The service will include a light meal,
communion, and foot washing.
There
will be a fellowship breakfast on Easter morning,
March 27. We will plan to eat at 9:15 AM . We would ask that you arrive before that time
so that we can gather in the sanctuary for prayer prior to breakfast. There will be no Sunday school that morning
and the worship service will follow breakfast at approximately 10:30 AM .
The
Elders have developed and approved guidelines for an identified sex offender
with parole limits that allow for attendance at Locust Grove. These guidelines are posted on the bulletin
board and extra copies are on the shelf under the church mailboxes.
Sympathy
is extended to Brian & Teresa Troyer and family in the death of Teresa’s
father this last week. May God give them
comfort and peace.
