We will be having our annual outdoor worship service at Amigo Centre next Sunday with a fellowship meal to follow. Coffee and donut time starts at 10:00 AM with the worship service at 10:30 AM. Please bring salads and desserts for the noon meal. The food committee will be grilling meat for sandwiches. Table service and drinks will be provided. A second offering will be received as a gift to Amigo. There will be no Sunday school that morning.
If you would like to help with different mission projects or needs in Moldova, please consider designating through the offering to “Moldova Projects”. While in Moldova, different needs are always brought to our attention. This money would help Martha, Ramona and Beth to be able to contribute “on the spot”. Thank you for your help!

Just a friendly reminder that the 2009-10 church year is almost over and annual reports will be due soon.
“Dear Locust Grove Friends – Thank you for cards and recognition as John and I celebrated our 70th wedding anniversary. It has been a good marriage. I don’t remember anyone wishing us many more. Our most heart broken times were when we lost two of our sons – Lowell, age 8, died Feb. 15, 1960 and Richard, age 52, died Feb. 16, 1994.” – Erma Eash
Congratulations to Joel & Monica Lederman on the birth of their second son on Aug. 6. Liam Garrett weighed in at 9 lb 7 oz and was 21 in. long. Big brother Caleb will be a good helper and grandparents Bill & Janell Lederman now have two grandsons to enjoy. Blessings to all!
