ANNOUNCEMENTS
If you are receiving the Daily Bread, Purpose (short inspirational stories), or Rejoice (a daily devotional and prayer requests), you will continue to receive them unless you let me know different.  If you do not receive them and have interest, please contact me through the church mailbox, phone or email by today.  A $10 fee is requested for the Daily Bread.  It may be designated and placed in the offering. ~ Donna Sommers
Menno-Hof Singspiration – Sept. 9, 4:45 PM – A cappella singing, ice cream, pretzels and more singing – Bring lawn chairs for seating.  Rain location:  Farmstead Inn pavilion.
The MCC Relief Sale is recruiting volunteers who can assist with their new event- a silent auction.  Areas of work needing help are:  marketing, donor communications, event logistics, donation management, website support, technical support, etc.  They are also seeking donations of unique items or services for the silent auction.  Items should be new and worth at least $25.  If you are interested in helping, call 574-971-8952.
The WMSC project for September is food for the food pantry at Keystone.

If you will commit to pray for Fred, Doug, Tim, Ramona and Beth as they work in Moldova, please sign the “prayer partner” list on the console by the library.  You can also take an itinerary to help keep track of them!
Congratulations to Galen & Carol Eichorn on the birth of their granddaughter, Pyper Danae Eichorn.  Pyper’s parents are Daniel & Anne Eichorn and she has 4 brothers waiting at home to teach her lots of “life lessons”!  Blessings to all!
A big THANK YOU to 3 special men for mowing our church yard this summer – Sam Miller, Rich Oswald and Erv Wickey.  Thanks, Guys!

2012 MCC Canning Report – 68,000 lbs of turkey meat canned into 37,137 cans.  Thanks go to all who helped with this big project.
Don’t forget to bring staple food supplies for the Salvation Army.
