ANNOUNCEMENTS
The member list for Elder selection was in your mailbox last Sunday.  On Mar. 22, you will be asked to mark all names of persons you feel have the gifts to serve as an Elder.  Please be in prayer about this process.  Also, please add the names of Tangi Gautsche and Mel Mullett to the list for consideration. 
The next WMSC meeting is Thursday, Mar. 19.  Audra Franz will have devotions and Gerri Schwartz is in charge of the kitchen.  The project is bath soap for MCC.  (No Ivory soap please.)
Bill Miller’s Sunday school class will be hosting a fellowship night on Mar. 22 starting with snacks at 5:30 PM.  They will be showing the movie “God’s Not Dead” starting at 6:00 PM.  Everyone is invited and asked to bring finger foods.
Women’s Fellowship – Mar. 24, 6:00 PM – Potluck at the church with
   DeVonna Allison as the guest speaker.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
The Missions Commission is having a service project night on Mar. 27 from 6-8:00 PM at the MCC Resource Center/Depot in Goshen.  It is for all ages and you will be assembling school kits.
Remember to bring your food donations that will go to the Salvation Army.  Specific items needed are canned corn and butter.
Each year the Mennonite colleges – Bethel, Bluffton, EMU, Goshen, and Hesston – offer students a grant that matches home congregation contributions dollar for dollar up to $1,000 per year ($500 per semester).  Locust Grove has a line item in the budget that goes to that fund.  If you are a high school senior or current college student, are planning to attend one of the Mennonite colleges, and would like to take part in this program, please notify Gerri Schwartz by Mar. 29.
Women’s Fellowship will be sponsoring a shopping trip to Ikea Store and/or Woodfield Mall in Chicago on Saturday, Apr. 18.  The bus will be boarding at 7:15 AM at our church, leaving at 7:30 AM, and returning at 9:30 PM.  There will be a stop for breakfast on the way and a stop on the way home for a meal.  Cost will be $50 per person.  This will be a 48 passenger bus, so please invite all your friends so we can fill the bus!  The sign-up list is on the counter today and will be there during the month of March.
Amigo Centre is accepting applications for part time work in the dining hall and kitchen.  Call 651-2811 for more information.
Congratulations to Brian & Nancy Nunemaker on the birth of another grandson.  Max Alexander was born to John & Stephanie Nunemaker on Mar. 10.  He weighed 6 lb. 3 oz. and was 19.5 inches long.  Blessings to little Max and all his family including great grandpa, Menno Chupp.
