ANNOUNCEMENTS
This evening at 6:00 PM the Missions Commission would like to celebrate our two weeks of mission work. Please bring the hours that you worked or visited to the celebration. If you can not attend, give your hours to Louanne Younts. We will be sharing stories, reports, and blessings from your service and visitation. Please bring snacks to compliment the ice cream to be served during a fellowship time.

ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
Women’s Fellowship will be Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7:00 PM here at the church. All ladies are invited to come and bring a friend. This evening will be about learning “Lost Arts”. We will be able to learn how to make bobbin lace and tat (Lori Zehr), make yarn balls (Mary Carpenter), do calligraphy (Chris Oswald), or make a lovely flakey pie crust (Anna Stauffer). Refreshments will be pie and ice cream served by Mary Jane Eichorn’s Sunday School class.
WMSC October meeting will be this Thursday with hostess Bertha Bontrager and devotions by Faith Carpenter. The project for October is Operation Christmas Child (shoe boxes).
All ladies are invited to a baby shower for Danielle Miller on Monday, October 24 at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall.
October 19-November 16 - Wednesday Connection - 5:30 PM - Soup & Sandwiches; 6:30 PM - Beth Moore classes on the Fruits of Spirit by Cathy Fellers, Bible Study of the book of Mark by Ross Weber, Marriage Enrichment class by Sam & Mattie Miller and Bill & Louanne Younts, Prayer Group by Jim Carpenter, and Youth Core by Adam Fellers. Donna Gautsche (1st-5th grades) and Ramona King (4-5 year olds) will be starting Bible Memory. Shelly Kindig will be with those under 4.
There will be a Pastor Appreciation Breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 9-9:30 AM. Please make plans to attend.
Baby Announcements – Congratulations and blessings to Charlie & Stefanie Patrick on the safe arrival of little Taner Everett on Oct. 8. He weighed 4 lb. 15 oz. and was 19 in. long. Proud grandparents are Greg & Brenda Blucker. Great-grandparents are John & Evelyn Blucker and Lloyd & Sharon Schrock. And Ellen Oswald is the great-great-grandmother.
Rich & Chris Oswald are pleased to announce the birth of another granddaughter. Sophia Christine was born to Randy & Jayne Romer on Oct. 10. She weighed 6 lb. 7 oz. and was 21 in. long. Her great-grandma is Ellen Oswald. Congratulations to all!
