“The youth core would like to say a ‘hearty thank you’ for helping us financially and supporting with prayer on our recent mission trip to Kentucky.  We are anxious to share with you more details at a scheduled time.  The next adventure will be to look ahead to the 2005 Youth Convention, and we want to ask again for your help in raising funds.  On Aug. 28, we will be running a Nelson’s port-a-pit fundraiser where you can plan to have chicken for brunch, lunch and dinner if you’d like!  Pre-sale tickets will be offered starting next week so tell your friends, neighbors, coworkers, and acquaintances that Aug. 28 will be chicken dinner sales to help the youth core at Locust Grove.”
It is time to save for the Marriage Retreat, Feb. 18-20, 2005.  Mark your calendars and begin saving by making a designation to “Marriage Retreat” through your offering.
