It’s a boy! Kurt & Kelly Franz are the proud parents of Kyle Jacob who was born Oct. 29 in Coldwater. He weighed 8 lb. 7 oz. and was 20 in. long. Now grandparents Bill & Martha Franz have a grandson and a granddaughter! May the Lord bless this happy family.
“We’re going to let you sign up to bring doughnuts for Sunday morning fel-lowship time. There is a paper on the library counter where you can sign up. This will be for Sundays beginning with Nov. 16. You will sign up to bring either 3 doz. doughnuts or 4 doz. cookies and you will be asked to prepare the table for serving, serve, and clean up after. We will need three people each week. Any questions, ask Fran Eichorn.”
“Treasures from Heaven” Cookbook update: We sold 75 cookbooks at the St. Joe County Fair this fall and need to sell only 37 more to have them totally paid for. We have set up a table with these 37 cook-books on it and the table will stay there until these are sold. You may put your money for the books in the basket on the table. These make excellent Christmas presents so let’s make the cook-books disappear! If the cookbooks are gone and you need more, please contact Evelyn Blucker, Natalie Bellaire or Martha Franz.
The Primary Sunday School Department reached its goal of $250 for a wheelchair for a child. Mennonite Central Committee will give this chair to a needy child in Tanzania that is unable to walk. Longer ago people with disabilities were left to die but now some workers are helping them go to school or jobs with the aid of a wheelchair or tricycle.
Craft Club is at Phyllis Hughes’ home on Nov. 6 at 7:00 PM. All ladies are welcome to come.
The WMSC project for November is Operation Christmas Child. Informa-tion is in your mailbox today.
