MCC Meat Canner is asking for our help on Wednesday, Jan. 26. They will be canning turkey instead of beef so they need help to cut up the meat all day. Meet at the Depot in Goshen. Wear clean clothes and something on your head. They will also be making homemade soap at the Harold Miller farm on CR 41, north of CR 34. Lunch will be available at the Depot.
The next scrapbooking/craft night here at the church is Feb. 4 at 6:00 PM. Come join in the fun and fellowship.

Correction – Ben & Nickie Younts’s phone number is incorrect in the information line. The correct number is 483-0331.
The position of janitor is available as the current janitors have resigned. The goal would be to hire internally. If you are interested in this position, please see Bill Lederman. – The Personnel Committee
The Missions Commission is planning to receive a special offering for MCC relief in February.
In your mailbox today is a member list to start the Elder selection process. In two weeks (February 6) you will be asked to check all the names of the persons you feel have the gifts to serve as an Elder. Please be in prayer over this selection process.
You are encouraged to continue to save pop can tabs for Riley Children’s Hospital’s Ronald McDonald House. Give the tabs to Eva Beeker.
Are you bored these long winter nights? Are you tired of just watching TV? Now would be a good time to work on projects for the Relief Sale this fall. You could make something out of wood, cross stitch, make a wall hanging, a painting, or what ever you enjoy making. Talk to Nancy Troyer or Irene Troyer if you have any questions.
If you would like to participate in our worship service in any way, please see Chris Barnes. This could include scripture reading, children’s messages, worship leader, worship team, technology assistance or special music.
“The Youth Core members thank each of you for your help in making the Fundraiser auction and meal a success. We raised a total of $3,709.50 and we couldn’t have done it without you. We truly appreciate the interest that you have in our lives!”
JYFers: You will be going to a hockey game in Kalamazoo on Saturday, Feb. 12. You will leave the church at 6:00 PM and return after the game (around 11:00 PM). The sponsors have 30 tickets on hold and must have a count by Saturday, Feb. 5. Please let Eva or Katrina know if you plan to attend and if you’re bringing a friend. If they haven’t heard from you by the 5th, you will not have a ticket.

ANNOUNCEMENTS, continued . . .
Explorers: The next activity will be Feb. 6 from 2-4:00 PM at Bill & Linda Miller’s home. The plan is to go sledding. Please bring a sled if you have one. If you don’t, it’s okay.
