LGMC Bulletin

We will be celebrating Pastor Appreciation today with a fellowship meal.  Following the meal there will be a congregational meeting. 

Local Christian author Betsy Tacchella will have book signings for her new book “Mother Has Alzheimer’s”.  On Oct. 17 she will be at the Sturgis Library from 7-8:30 PM and on Oct. 18 at Great Lakes Coffee Shop from 7-8:30 PM.

WMSC – Oct. 18 - Mary Jane Eichorn has devotions and Pauline Hochstetler is hostess.  The project is Hospitality House in Kalamazoo.

Celebrate Amigo – October 19-21 - Celebrate Amigo’s ministry, enjoy the facilities, and support Amigo’s ministry through contributions. 

Women’s Fellowship Events – Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7:00 PM – Coffee at Great Lakes Chocolate Company; Saturday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 PM – “Half Stitched” – a musical at Blue Gate Theater in Shipshewana.  Plan to eat dinner on your own and meet at the theater at 6:30 PM for the show.  If you would like to carpool, meet at the church at 6:00 PM.  Cost is $29.  Please sign up TODAY as we are making reservations tomorrow (Oct. 15).

Amigo Centre will be hosting open gym on Tuesday nights beginning Nov. 6 and running through Mar. 6.  Cost is $2.00/person/night and will run from 7-9:00 PM.  We will play basketball and volleyball.  All ages are welcome.  Call Amigo at 651-2811 for more details.

Guess Who’s Coming to Supper – November 11

Annual Reports for the 2011-12 church year are due.

Any child in grades 3-9 who is interested in singing in the annual Mennonite Youth Choir in Goshen on March 3, 2013, please fill out a registration form that is on the console by the library or register online by Oct. 31.  Cost is $28.

Remember to bring your food donations that will go to Keystone Place.
