Phil Yoder is planning another trip to Moldova in October 2010. School bag items will be shipped to Moldova in October 2009. One thing the children really enjoy is magazines such as Farm & Ranch, Birds & Blooms, and Country Living which have scenery pictures of America. Please bring your magazines in to the church office. Thanks for your help.
A special “Thank You” to Joe Yoder for getting our internet service up and running again! Thanks, too, to all those who worked on it while Joe was gone.
There will be no Wednesday Connection this week.

Pick up at the church around 8pm.; Dec. 11 – Pizza and movie night after we wrap gifts for our Christmas family. Meet at Hasbrouck’s from 5-8:30 pm.; Dec. 31 – New Year’s Eve lock in at Centreville Elementary from 7pm-12:30am. Bring finger food and a 2 liter drink per JYF family; Jan. 10 – Noodle making at the church (9am-3pm)for our fund raiser for Winter Youth Retreat. ANNOUNCEMENTS
The WMSC project for November is clothing, blankets and food for the Peace Mennonite Church in Detroit. They will use these items for their ministry to the homeless and elderly.
Lake Area Christian School’s Annual Benefit Auction & Bazaar will be Nov. 21 & 22. The preview night is Friday from 6-8:00 PM and the breakfast, auction and lunch is Saturday starting at 7:00 AM. See the poster on the west bulletin board.

WMSC meeting is Thursday. Hostess is Donna Gautsche and Diane Green will have devotions. The project is items for Peace Mennonite Church in Detroit.
Myron Augsberger will be delivering a series of talks on discipleship at Emma Mennonite Church, Sunday-Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM.
Jan. 22, 2009 marks the 36th anniversary of the US Supreme Court’s decision legalizing abortion. Since that time, some 49,000,000 unborn babies have been killed by abortion in this country. A supplement will be placed in area newspapers on Jan. 22 listing the names of all who believe in the sanctity of all human life. Please show your concern about this injustice by printing your name on the sheet on the library counter. Nov. 23 will be the last day to sign the sheet.
