Welcome to Locust Grove! We’re glad to have you join us for our time of worship together. If you haven’t already attended, we would love to have you also join us for Sunday school next Sunday. ANNOUNCEMENTS
All men are encouraged to attend the weekly Bible Study on Saturday mornings at 7:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
August is a VERY busy time at Amigo Centre and volunteer help is needed in the kitchen. Duties would include dishes, cleaning up after meals, and light food prep. A list of available opportunities is posted on the brochure rack in the fellowship hall. Or call the camp at 651-2811.
We will be having our annual outdoor worship service at Amigo Centre on Aug. 22 with a fellowship meal to follow. Coffee and donut time starts at 10:00 AM with the worship service at 10:30 AM. Please bring salads and desserts for the noon meal. The food committee will be grilling meat for sandwiches. Table service and drinks will be provided. Please put it on your calendar and plan to attend.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
If you would like to help with different mission projects or needs in Moldova, please consider designating through the offering to “Moldova Projects”. While in Moldova, different needs are always brought to our attention. This money would help Martha, Ramona and Beth to be able to contribute “on the spot”. Thank you for your help!
The WMSC project for August is school kits for MCC.
Just a friendly reminder that the 2009-10 church year is almost over and annual reports will be due soon.
