ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sunday, May
10 – Curbside Communion, 9:00 AM – Noon – Pull off the road straight into
the overhang on the west end of the building.
Remain in your car. Communion
elements will be brought to you. This
will be done in compliance with social distancing directives.
The
next Red
Cross blood drive is scheduled for May 11.
Red Cross is requesting that we still have this on May 11 because of the
need for blood donations. So, as of now,
it is still planned.
Since
there are no Sunday services right now, persons are encouraged to mail their
offerings to the church, Pastor Bill at 26859 Banker St. Rd., Sturgis 49091 or
Beth Miller at 19512 Wittenberg Rd., Constantine 49042. There is no immediate need. This is just an attempt to not get in a tight
financial situation. Thank you very much to
those who have already done this!
Congratulations to Darian
& Christen Kirby on the birth of Jameson Christopher on Apr. 24. He weighed 8 lb. 9 oz. and was 20 ¾ in
long. Grandparents are Chris & Kerri
Kahila and the proud great grandma is Beth Miller. May God bless this family with health and
give them wisdom in raising James.
Amigo Centre
has made the difficult decision to cancel all overnight camps for the
summer. All day camps are cancelled
through July 3. The remaining day camps
will be re-evaluated by June 5. If you’re
already registered for camp, you should have received an email stating your
options for payments already made.
Summer camp is an important part of what Amigo is about and we are sad
to have to come to this decision. Be on
the lookout for what Amigo plans to offer you, your family and your congregation
to connect with God, nature, and each other (in a socially distant way).
