The total collected
for the Meat Canner is $1,502.06. Thank you! The Missions Commission is also contributing
$150 from their budgeted funds.
Offering
envelopes for 2014 are in your mailboxes.
Start using them today. Please
throw away any left over envelopes from 2013.
You may not have the same number this year.
A Prayer Partner Revealing Party will be Jan. 6 at 6:30
PM at Evelyn Blucker’s.
Bring your revealing gift and finger food to share. Information forms for 2014 are on the console
by the library. Fill one out and bring
it to the party. New prayer partners are
welcome!

Centre will be hosting Open Gym every
Tuesday night starting Jan. 7 from 7-9:00 PM . The cost is $2/person/night. Basketball, volleyball and other table games
are available. Call 651-2811 if you have
questions.
Wednesday
Connection will begin again on January 15.
The
day for Locust Grove to help at the MCC meat canner is Jan. 17.

The
Sunday school class taught by Gerri Schwartz will be hosting a Fellowship Meal on
Sunday, Jan. 19.
The
January WMSC project is items for MCC – flat twin sheets and fabric (2 or more
yards per piece).
The
January Missions Commission project is items for Haven of Rest Rescue
Mission. On Jan. 19 & 26 we will be collecting
these items: paper towels, copy paper,
bathroom tissue and laundry soap.
Remember
to bring your food donations that will go to Salvation
Army.
We do not currently have a Locust Grove advocate for Everence. If you are interested in filling that role or
would like to get more information about what is involved, please contact Brian
Oswald.
