ANNOUNCEMENTS
Today in your mailbox you received a ballot to affirm the two persons selected by the congregation to participate in the lot for Elder.  The affirmation will take place on June 4.  Please be in prayer about this process.
Survey reminder:  The survey that was in the mailboxes 2 weeks ago is to be returned to the box on the console in the fellowship hall by May 28.  All persons 16 and over, member or nonmember, are invited to fill out the survey.  In the far right column, identify the 5 most important articles to you.  You are encouraged to put your age on the survey.  There are more copies available on the console if needed.  Thank you for helping the Affiliation Committee do their work.
“MEGA Sports Camp: Conquer the Day” based on Romans 8:37 will be this year’s Bible School theme happening June 25-29 from 6-8:00 PM every evening.  We will learn how to be conquerors through Him in all areas of our lives while we participate in various sports and activities during the Bible School week.

Pastor Bill will be offering a class during the Sunday school hour for anyone interested in exploring church membership, baptism, or simply learning more about what Mennonites believe.  This class will begin in June.  See Bill if interested.
Amigo Centre is hosting a Woodcutting Bee on May 24 at the camp starting at 9:00 AM.  Volunteers are needed to help with cutting, stacking and brush removal.  Bring your own saws.  A snack will be provided.  If you can help, call the camp office at 651-2811,
Food donations during May will go to the Salvation Army.

- With Roy & Judy Hudson in the recent death of their son Ken.  Visitation is Monday from 4-8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10-11:00 AM with the funeral following at 11:00 AM.  All services are at Ely Funeral Home in Centreville.  A lunch will be served here at Locust Grove immediately after the burial Tuesday.  Please pray for peace and comfort for the family.
