Tonight after the last performance we are planning a celebration. We invite each of you to come and celebrate our seventh year of drama production.
The cookbook count is down to 6. They are almost paid for!
All JYFers plan to meet at the Beeker’s home on Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 5-8:00 PM. You will have pizza, play games, and wrap gifts for the Christmas family you are sponsoring. Hope to see you all there. Please call 467-7883 if you cannot make it.
Annual reports still due are – Worship Commission, Nursery Coordinator, MYF, MYF financial, Amigo Rep, One-Another Cells, Gifts Discernment Commission.
Last Sunday you received a complimentary issue of the “Inspire Me” circular because our Christmas Drama was a featured article. The main mission of “Inspire Me” is not to provide news or even to entertain. Rather, they seek to uplift, edify and encourage our community with true accounts of how God is working through the lives of people throughout our community. Readers range from teens to senior citizens, including both Christians and neighbors who never attend church. If you are interested in subscribing just let a JYF sponsor know. The JYF will receive a contribution for each subscription purchased. These would make wonderful Christmas gifts for family, friends, neighbors, elderly and shut-ins.
The Goshen College Music Center invites you to a Christmas Hymn Sing on Dec. 14 at 4:00 PM in Rieth Recital Hall. Led by various G.C. music faculty, this hymn sing will include an opportunity to request Advent and Christmas favorites.
The December WMSC project is newborn kits. If you would prefer to give money or just some of the articles to put in a kit, that’s OK, too.
