ANNOUNCEMENTS
The church office will close at 3:30 PM this Thursday, May 13.
Results from the vote taken last Sunday – Director of Worship passed (77.7%); Church Administrator did not pass (73.9%).
The next WMSC meeting will be May 20. Mary Miller will be the hostess and Erma Eash will have devotions. The project is health kits for MCC. We have received a lot of kits so far but MCC could use a lot more because their supply is drastically depleted. All the help you can give them will be greatly appreciated. Help yourself to the bags in the fellowship hall.
WOMEN OF FAITH CONFERENCE, Ft. Wayne, IN, July 15-16, 2005 – There have been 40 tickets reserved that will be sold on a first come/first serve basis. If you would like to reserve your ticket, let Janell Lederman know. Payment will be due next Feb. or March, 2005. There have already been more than 5000 tickets sold!
Congratulations to our college graduates: John Nunemaker on May 2 from Bethel College in Mishawaka, IN. Are there others?
Harry Troyer’s granddaughter Gracie has cerebral palsy. (Gracie is the daughter of Becky Troyer Bowen.) Harry will be riding in a bike-a-thon on May 15 in Tennessee to raise funds for some of Gracie’s medical expenses. Anyone wishing to sponsor him may sign up on the sheet on the library counter. If you have any questions, talk to Marv Schwartz.
A certificate of recognition to Locust Grove from Thurston Woods Village is posted on the west bulletin board.
Saturday, May 22 at 6:00 PM – Home Improvement Year-End Cook-out at Sam & Mattie’s cabin – Sam and Bill will be fixing their special golden glow chicken. Bring a dish to pass, table service and lawn chairs. Children are welcome.
