Report on the Blood Drive

for your help with another successful blood drive.
Plan to come to
the Game Night &
Supper on May 16 sponsored by
Ross Weber’s Sunday school class. There
will be a Rook tournament as well as other table games to play. A light supper will be served. Everyone is asked to bring finger food.
A special
offering will be received May 17 for the WMSC May project of sewing kits for
MCC.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
On May 17, there will
be a carry-in dinner after the morning service for Dana & Donna Sommers,
who will be moving to Virginia . To show our appreciation, there will also be
a card shower for them. Please bring a
card and a dish or 2 to pass.
Attention all
women: Please join us for “Salad & Scripture”
women’s Bible study beginning May 28. This will be the 2nd
and 4th Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:30
PM in the fellowship hall. A
light meal and fellowship will be from 5:30-6:30
PM followed by the Bible study.
Bring a topping for a lettuce salad.

Golfers are
needed for the 18th Annual Amigo Camp Scholarship
There will be a
Sunday school class starting June 7 covering the Confession of Faith in a
Mennonite Perspective for anyone interested in becoming a member of
Locust Grove or for anyone interested in learning more about what Mennonites
believe. See Pastor Bill if you are
interested in this class.
Remember
to bring your food donations that will go to the Salvation
Army.
