Food donations during September will go to the Salvation Army.

Thank you for approving the 2022-23 church budget.

Annual reports for the 2021-22 church year are due by the end of September.

The WMS project for September is hygiene kits for MCC. For the monthly meeting Thursday, Joyce Weber will be in charge of the kitchen and Nancy Troyer will have devotions.

The next blood drive is September 12.  Volunteers are needed to help with registration, drivers for donors if needed, and tear down.  A sign-up sheet is in the fellowship hall.

There will be a parent meeting next week, Sept. 18, for all parents with children ages 1^st grade to 12^th grade seniors.  We will meet immediately following the service in the fellowship hall by the long tables for a quick meeting.  We look forward to sharing with you what we have planned for Kids Club, JYF and MYF. ~ Darin & Rachel King

Our Praise Team will be singing at the county fair on Sept. 18 at 4:00 PM.

40 Days Through the Bible, a ladies' Bible study group, will be meeting Mondays, Sept. 26 – Nov. 21 from 6:30-8pm at the church. Please sign up on the credenza and purchase study guides from Audra Franz for $5.

Sympathy and prayers go to the family of Irene Troyer who passed away Sept. 3.  Her memorial service was here at Locust Grove Sept. 8 with Bill Beck officiating.  May God give all her family comfort and peace.  Family members from Locust Grove are Louellen Westover (daughter) and Jason & Jenny Troyer and sons (grandson).
