“We would like to invite you to an open house here at the church welcoming our granddaughter Katie Grace today from 4-6:00 PM. Matt, Mindy and Katie Grace will be here for the weekend and rather than having a baby shower, we decided to have an open house. You do not need to bring a gift, but are welcome to come and visit with Matt and Mindy and meet Katie Grace.” – Marv & Gerri Schwartz
ANNOUNCEMENTS continued:
Woodcutting Day at Amigo is April 25. Check with Ross Weber if you have any questions.
Worship Team practice will be Apr. 26 from 3-5:00 PM.
The Golf Outing for Amigo Centre is scheduled for June 6. Get a team together and help send kids to a great, life-changing week of camp at Amigo. Individuals may also sign up. Cost per golfer is $85 and includes your green fees, cart, and hot roast lunch at Amigo. For more information, call the camp at 651-2811.
“I want to thank the church for all the prayers that were offered for me which I’m sure helped me remain calm and gave a speedy recovery. I also appreciated the visits, cards, food and plant. Thanks to John Sies for sitting with my husband John and for the help he has given.” - Erma Eash
Do you remember what it was like to go to camp as a kid? It is a place of memories and fun. Help bring the same joy to kids this summer through Sun Rock Kids Camp VBS. If you have not already told Audra Franz how you would like to be involved, please do so today.
Don’t forget to bring in your Farm & Ranch, Birds & Blooms, and Country Living and other magazines which have scenery pictures of America. These will go in the Moldovan school bags. Bring your magazines in to the church office. Thanks for your help.
Thank you for all your help with our monthly WMSC projects. In March we were able to send 89 towels to the Depot for MCC. In February we sent 251 bars of soap to the Depot. Now so far in April, we have assembled 32 newborn kits. You can continue to bring in items for the newborn kits through the end of April. Pray that the receiver will be blessed by the gift.
