The proposed 2021-22 church budget is in your mailbox today.  Affirmation will be on Sept. 12.

Sympathy and prayers go to Greg & Cyndi Murray in the recent death of Cyndi’s father, John Elkins.  May God give them comfort and peace.

Starting in September we will begin to celebrate the ways in which God is working in our lives. The first Sunday of every month we will be offering people the opportunity to share a testimony and praise report during the morning worship with the entire body. This is a way in which we can celebrate the ways in which God is moving in our lives and community.

The next Red Cross Blood Drive at Locust Grove is September 13.  Volunteers are needed to help with setup, registration, and tear down as well as driving.  A signup sheet is in the fellowship hall.

All ladies and girls are invited to a bridal shower for Sierra Eichorn on Sept. 14 at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall.  Sierra is registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond and Target.

A black cell phone was found in the basement a couple weeks ago.  Talk to Beth if you think it is yours.
