Locust Grove bulletin for March 22, 2020

Offerings & Attendance – 03/15/2020
   General Fund - $ 3,370.00            Attendance – 135
   Designations - $1,089 which includes $1,079 given the Gideons.  There was also one check written directly to the Gideons and one gift via credit card. 
                                

ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Women’s Sewing project for March is bath towels for MCC.  They can be any color except white, be a good quality, and medium weight. 
The next scheduled Women’s Fellowship event will be a Traveling Fellowship Night on March 24 at 6:00 PM. 
The MYF will be hosting a mystery supper and fundraiser auction on Saturday, April 28 at 5:30 PM at the church.  They are looking for baked goods and new, good quality items for auction.  No used items, please.  A table will be set up in the fellowship hall for donations.  They will use what’s raised for their Nicaragua trip and other future activities.  Let Doug, Marcy, Adam, Cathy or any MYFer know if you have questions.
The next Red Cross blood drive is May 11. 
Food donations during March will go to the Salvation Army.
Congratulations to Deric & Ashley Mostrom on the birth of their daughter Emery Kay on March 13.  She weighed 5 lb 15 oz and was 19 in. long.  Proud grandparents are Jim & Katrina Hasbrouck and great grandparents Fred & Marilyn Schwartz.  We praise God for a safe delivery and ask for His care and blessings on this family.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Amigo Centre’s April Scrapbooking & Quilting Retreat is cancelled.  Please contact Mandy Yoder (mandy@amigocentre.org) to provide direction on how to handle your registration. 
Amigo Centre is moving forward with planning for summer camp.  There is still a need for counselors, lifeguards and kitchen help.  They will continue to assess summer camp as more information becomes available.

Sympathy and prayers go to two families at Locust Grove.  May God give peace and comfort to both families.
 - Ralph Troyer, father of Lennis and Brian (Teresa) Troyer died on March 17.  A private family service and burial was held with plans for a public memorial service at a later date.
- Frank Fisher, husband of Marie Fisher, died on March 24.  A public memorial service at Locust Grove will be held at a later date.
